The first picture from the left is the view from the back door into the living room. The second picture is also from the back door into the dining room. The last picture is Casey sitting on the floor because she wanted to take a picture. Both kids love having the floor. Kyle loves letting his trains and cars lightly glide on the floor. They have done well with helping us so far.

This is the completed project. It took about 14 hours to finish, so Keith and I went to bed around 2:00 a.m. Sun. morning. We just had to admire our work. This is the original look that I wanted with wood flooring when I was looking last year. This is the view from the front door. (Please excuse the mess, I was doing laundry at the time I remember to take the photos.)
Keith wanted this picture taken. This was the first attempt at laying the underlayment on the floor (before we found out the correct way). He just had ot have it because I was actually trying to keep the bubbles out and the kids decided to help me. He got a good laugh out of it. This was VERY early in the morning.
Here is Casey working hard to help us put in the laminate floor. She was so eager to help and she really did a wonderful job and was a great help. Kyle wasn't really interested in doing anything. He did have a turn with the shop vac and also did a wonderful job. At that time, I was unable to locate my camera.
